Homicide at Anse La Raye

On Monday 12 November 2012 about 3:15pm, officers attached to the Anse La Raye Police Station were summoned to Petit Bough, Anse La Raye. The officers received information that 48-year-old Francis Mathurin also known as ‘Miscard’ was involved in an altercation with a known individual. During the altercation, he sustained a stab wound. Francis Mathurin was pronounced dead on the scene. A post mortem is scheduled for a later date. One man is currently in police custody assisting with the investigation.
