Homicide at Bois Patat

[dropcap]P[/dropcap]olice are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of thirty one (31) year old Kwame Rampersad of Bois Patat, Castries.

On Tuesday 3, April, 2018, about 8:30pm, officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department received a report of shooting at Bois Patat, Castries.

Kwame Rampersad was conveyed to the Victoria Hospital via ambulance, after allegedly sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, where he succumbed due to injuries sustained.

A post mortem examination is scheduled for a later date.

This is the sixth recorded homicide for the year 2018.

The Royal St. Lucia Police Force is appealing to anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the nearest police station, or the Criminal Investigations Department at 456 3770.
