Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 31-year-old, Kieran Johnny also known as “Ratel” of Mongouge, Choiseul. On Saturday, October 15, 2016 about 10:15 a.m. Johnny sustained multiple stab wounds to the body perpetrated by a known individual, whilst at a supermarket in Mongouge. He was transported to the St. Jude Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A post mortem has been scheduled for Monday, October 17, 2016. This is homicide number 23 for 2016.
