[dropcap]P[/dropcap]olice are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Stephen James alias Tupac, a twenty nine (29) year old resident of Patience, Mon Repos.
On Saturday June 2, 2018, about 8:20 p.m. officers attached to the Micoud Police Station responded to a report of a stabbing incident at La Pointe, Mon Repos.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers were informed of an altercation which resulted in Stephen James sustaining wounds about the body. He was conveyed to the St Jude’s Hospital via ambulance and was subsequently pronounced dead by a medical practitioner. A post mortem examination is scheduled for today Monday June 4, 2018.
Three individuals are currently in police custody in relation to this incident. Investigations are continuing into this matter
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force would like to extend condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
The Royal St. Lucia Police Force is appealing to anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the nearest police station, or the Micoud Police Station at 456 3670.
