The House of Assembly and Senate will no longer meet this week. Parliamentarians were slated to debate number of matters, including a motion seeking approval to borrow EUR 13,500,000.00 from the European Investment Bank, “to finance emergency operating expenses in the health sector related to the COVID-19 Virus Pandemic.”

However today, Monday the office of the Parliament of Saint Lucia announced: “The Sittings of the House of Assembly and Senate scheduled for Tuesday 22, and Thursday 24 June 2021, respectively, have been postponed.
