Royal St. Lucia Police Force – On Thursday, October 19, 2023, about 6:20 am, Officers attached to the Dennery Police Station received and responded to a report, regarding the discovery of a body at Bois Jolie, Dennery.
Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers proceeded to an open area grassy area with a few cedar trees. There they observed the lifeless body of a male individual lying on his back with his head completely severed.
A thorough search of the area and its vicinity was conducted searching for the head of the individual but to no avail. The body was subsequently pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.
The identity of the male individual is still unknown as this time. This matter is actively being investigated. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is pleading to anyone who may have information about this latest homicide to come forward and speak with us. Anonymous tips can be provided at the number 555.
