In just a few days, the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture will join the global family in celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021. From Monday 8th November to Sunday 14th November 2021, the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) will officially celebrate thirteen (13) years of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).
GEW is a platform that has aided millions of people unleash ideas which propelled them to start and scale new businesses worldwide. The initiative began in 2008 with a particular emphasis on inspiring young people to make their mark and has rapidly grown into a worldwide effort that engages entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers, support organizations and other collaborators to advance economic growth and innovation in over 180 countries globally.
Under the chosen themes of “Ecosystems; Education; Inclusion; Policy”, the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, along with other local partner organizations will host a range of activities geared at not only assisting entrepreneurs and providing them with opportunities for growth, but also at celebrating their resilience, especially during this economic climate. Global Entrepreneurship St. Lucia 2021 is dedicated to promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in St. Lucia, as well as assist in creating and sustaining a viable entrepreneurial ecosystem that is undoubtedly, vital to our economy despite the initial and continuous challenges in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Global Entrepreneurship Week St. Lucia 2021 is sponsored by Bank of Saint Lucia Limited, Massy Stores (SLU) Limited and Republic Bank (EC) Limited and supported by AdVizze Inc and media partners National Television Network and Radio Caribbean International.
