On Tuesday 19th October, 2021, IICA bestowed the title of Goodwill Ambassador for Sustainable Development Issues on Ms. Keithlin Caroo, Founder and Executive Director of Helen’s Daughters during a Virtual Ceremony which took place at 12.30 pm Eastern Caribbean Time.
Ms. Caroo, a national of Saint Lucia from the community of Fond Assau, Babboneau, will be the first Caribbean person to be bestowed with the title of IICA Goodwill Ambassador.
Remarks were delivered by Hon. Philip J. Pierre, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Hon. Alfred Prospere, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Rural Development, , Dr. Manuel Otero, Director General of IICA, H.E Dr. Didicus Jules, Director General of the OECS, Dr. James Fletcher, Head of Soloricon and Former Minister and Ms. Keithlin Caroo.
