Even as the votes were still being recounted in some constituencies Kenny Anthony was sworn in as Prime Minister of Saint Lucia. This is the third time Dr Anthony has been sworn in as prime minister of St Lucia following his party’s election into office in 1997 and in 2001. Dr Anthony is expected to name his Cabinet shortly. The St Lucia Labour Party has secured ten of St Lucia’s 17 electoral seats in the November 28th poll.
