Kluivert Mitchel – Athlete of the Week

[dropcap]O[/dropcap]ver the past few months Kluivert has distinguished himself as one of the best young riders in Saint Lucia. He is consistently among the top three when it comes to local races. Sunday was no exception when he competed in the Independence Cycling Classic that consisted of a series of races along the Castries City Circuit. Kluivert was the big winner on the day winning both races he competed in. The first was the 10 lap event, followed by the feature and last race of the day, the Open 30 lap race. What’s even more amazing, this pedal pusher who is a junior, defeated several senior riders in winning the 30 lap event. Congratulations Kluivert and I do hope to see you in the winner’s circle once again.
