La Bayee Man Found Dead in Abandoned Building

In a statement sent out Monday, police announced that they have launched an investigation into the death of 46-year-old Peter Raymond a.k.a “Bounty” of La Bayee, Castries. Raymond’s  partially decomposed body was found by family members in an abandoned building at La Bayee, about 3:00pm, on Friday3rd February.

The police say they discovered marks of violence on the body of Raymond who reportedly has a history of mental illness. The Post Mortem in relation to Peter Raymond was scheduled for Monday, February 6, 2012. Post Mortem results showed Raymond died as a result of hemorrhagic shock secondary to stab wounds. Reports indicate that two men are still in police custody assisting with the investigation.
