During the awards ceremony, Minister of Home Affairs, Guy Mayers said: “The activity today achieved its goal. We wanted to ensure that we had fun, camaraderie and I am pleased despite the fact we had a few yellow cards {football infractions} we had no red cards and that shows good sportsmanship. I think it augers well for our continuing effort in using sports to encourage our protective services, as we continue
to build on the relationship between the various
agencies.”
Mayers did not take part in any of the activities, but vowed he would the next time around when the competition will be a Twenty20 cricket match.
