LIAT announces re-booking policy for Dominica travellers

LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, wishes to advise passengers holding tickets to and from Dominica whose flights were cancelled due to Tropical Storm Erika that they may rebook on any available flight until October 2nd, 2015.

No fees or charges will be applied for a booking change during this period.

Passengers who wish to re-book to/from Dominica may contact the LIAT Call Centre from Antigua – 1-268-480-5582; toll free from the rest of the Caribbean – 1-888-844-5428 and from Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands – 1-866-549-5428 or by emailing Reservations@liat.com

The opening hours for the LIAT call centre are from 07:00 – 22:00 Monday to Saturday and from 07:00 – 18:00 on Sunday and public holidays.

Passengers with a booking to/from Dominica who would like to rebook but are unable to contact the LIAT call centre may present themselves at the airport to travel on any Dominica service on a ‘go-show’ basis, subject to availability. No fees or charges will be applied.

LIAT resumed services to Dominica on Friday, September 18th.

The company was forced to suspend services to the island on August 27th due to the passage of Tropical Storm Erika which resulted in severe damage to the island and closure of the Douglas-Charles Airport.
