Students who wrote the May-June sitting of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) examinations can now access their results online.
According to CXC Local Registrar, Solomon Claxton, results are now available online. On Friday, August 9 CAPE results were posted, Monday August 12 CSEC results and Tuesday August 13 CCSLC results.
Students will need to go the website ors.cxc.org/studentportal with their registration number which is the same as their candidate number. The site will ask for the centre number which is the first six digits of the candidate number.
Mr Claxton, told the Education Media Unit that candidates would need to be patient as numerous candidates will be accessing the student portal at the same time. He added his best wishes and hopes that the results received are pleasing.
The registrar advised that persons in good standing would be successful in obtaining their results. He added that candidates who received government assistance through SELF and were absent for their examination or did not complete their coursework will be blocked from viewing their results.
Additionally, candidates with outstanding SELF books and fees for their institutions will also be blocked. In such cases individuals will have to meet the outstanding obligations prior to viewing the desired information.
