A man has been pronounced dead following an apparent electrocution in Cap Estate, Gros Islet. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force has identified the victim as 32-year-old Deshay Louis of Monchy, Gros Islet. Leading Firefighter Stacy Joseph told the STAR that on Saturday, August 22 at about 4:50 pm, the Castries Fire Station received a call informing them of a possible electrocution.

“The responding emergency personnel found a male individual lying face down on the floor. An assessment revealed that the patient was unresponsive, breathless and pulseless with what appeared to be burn marks on his body.
