Marigot Bay Resort & Marina to Host ‘Kwéyòl En Mygo’

Marigot Bay Resort and Marina gets set for the culmination of Creole Heritage Month with “Kwéyòl En Mygo”, slated from 7am to 7pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Marigot Bay Marina Village. Following the success of last year’s event, the management and staff are gearing up for a lively crowd who’ll enjoy the best Marigot Bay Resort has to offer.

With a cornucopia of traditional authentic dishes served throughout the day there will be rousing Creole music, live entertainment, local crafts and cultural demonstrations. This Jounen Kwéyòl celebration promises to be filled with wholesome, family-oriented fun.

Patrons of Kwéyòl En Mygo can also look forward to capturing prizes for best Creole wear, which includes prizes like Marigot Bay Resort day passes and dinner for two. The first fifty guests to arrive will also receive a complimentary local drink.

The second Creole celebration by the resort promises Marigot Bay Resort, Spa and Marina’s best offerings.

“Creating a sense of belonging and making connections with our local culture is really important to the team at Marigot Bay Resort and Marina. All year long we are proud to provide authentic local experiences through our spa treatments, resort activities and culinary offerings, therefore, showcasing our heritage to the Saint Lucian public for Jounen Kwéyòl is a pleasure the team looks forward to every October,” says Director of Operations, Ms. Perle Flavien.
