The Adjodhas first appeared before a magistrate on Friday April 8 represented by local attorneys Lorne Theophilus and Gerald Williams.  The STAR has been reliably informed that the couple also secured two Jamaican Queen Counsels namely QC Kenneth Churchill Neita and QC Delano Harrison, who were on island.
The attorneys for the defendants filed a bail application on Friday but the application was not heard.  The application came before Justice Kenneth Benjamin on Monday.  Theophilus appeared for the defense while Tina Mensah appeared for the Crown.
The Adjodhas were granted bail of $10,000 on each of the five charges or suitable security with one surety on each charge.  Further, they have to surrender their passports and are prohibited from leaving the state without permission from the court.  Additionally, the couple has to report to the Gros Islet Police Station every Monday and Friday before 6pm.
