Marijuana Plantations in Soufriere destroyed!

On Wednesday 16 January 2013, Officers attached to the Soufriere Police Station conducted an eradication exercise on a Marijuana Plantation at Ravine Clear, Soufriere.

During the exercise a total of Sixteen Thousand and Eight (16,008) Marijuana seedlings and Two Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty (2,260) grown Marijuana plants were destroyed. The Police also seized a white bucket of compressed Marijuana.

Also, on Tuesday 22 January 2013, they also conducted eradication exercises on two other plantations at Migny in Fond St Jacques, Soufriere.

A total of Eight Thousand Five Hundred (8,500) seedlings and Three Thousand Six Hundred and Fifty (3,650) fully grown plants were destroyed.

No one was arrested in relation to either exercise.
