What these students have endured is clearly wrong. Someone from the ministry of education and by extension health needs to step and make amends for these students. However we live in a global community with many opportunities, go out and make a way for yourself. At the end of the day investing in your education is the best investment one can make.

It is sad to read this. As a former medical student I know how important it is to follow your education at a well accredited university. Especially seeing your chances in the future. I realize that St. Lucia has no scholarship system set in place locally, will it not be an opportunity now for the new government to set up a scholarship fund? Invest in the youth as they are the future for tomorrow. If government wants help there are mane who can inform them as to how they can setup such a system. There are neighbouring islands and countries who have people willing to assist. I do hope this gets resolved, in the meantime I encourage the students to start working to save money or look towards crowd funding to help build a decent fund to start taking bold steps themselves towards their future. Waiting does not have to go in vain. All the best and may God guide you all.

Having to receive injections on a daily basis was horrible the pain grew worse. I’ve suffered a lot I have stayed 6 months with out walking. Doctors back home could not tell me why I was so sick all my result from the doctors can back negative. Just a few days ago I found out that I am positive for “rheumatoid arthritis”.
