The four brothers, Tito, Jackie, Jermaine and Marlon from the legendary Pop group The Jacksons performed at the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival last night at Pigeon Island. Ahead of their performance they met with the press at the Landings Hotel where they stayed for the duration of their St Lucia trip to talk about their current tour and share thoughts on being in the island paradise that is St Lucia!
“We love it here!” Jackie said smiling widely. “The food, the weather, the music… wow.”
“I think we will have to work hard on stage to lose some of those pounds from all that good food,” Tito joked.
The brothers didn’t hesitate when the request came through to perform in Saint Lucia and said for them, it was a dream come true being in the Caribbean.
“High energy and fun, is what you can expect from us on stage,” Jermaine said ahead of their performance. “Sometimes we still look over our shoulders, hoping to just see Michael sliding between us,” he responded when asked what it was like performing without their late brother. As we went to press Friday afternoon, The Jacksons said the concert would to be a tribute to the late Michael Jackson. According to the brothers, the decision to head back on the road came after getting requests from millions of fans worldwide. The next stop on The Jacksons’ tour is Morocco.
