Motor cycle accident leaves rider dead

Officers attached to the Traffic Department of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force are currently investigating a traffic accident which occurred about 12:20pm, on Saturday 24th December 2011, at Bexon, Castries, involving a motor cycle.

Reports indicate that the motor cycle driven by a 29-year old Roxon Joseph also known as ‘China’ of Bexon, Castries, was travelling in the direction of Castries, when it ran off the road and made contact with a wall.

He was subsequently transported to the Victoria Hospital via ambulance where he was consequently pronounced dead on his arrival at the said Hospital.
