“Mr. Streetvibes” Alex Bousquet Has Died

The STAR has learned that DBS journalist Alex Bousquet or “Mr Streetvibes” has died. He is reported to have passed away on Sunday 10th October just before midday at the Victoria Hospital. Bousquet is said to have suffered from pneumonia which is why he was at the respiratory hospital.

“Mr. Streetvibes” as he was called worked with Daher Broadcasting Service for over 10 years and was a staple in the nightly news broadcast. Aquarius crossing was the home of his segment “Street Vibes with Alex Bousquet”. Anyone who traversed that area was at some point accosted by his mike and him wanting their opinion on the talk of the day. Bousquet was also host of “Everyday People” and “Friday Funnies”.

He was the younger brother of veteran journalist Earl Bousquet.
