Music symposium on Friday to explore new markets

Saint Lucian born Canada based rapper, Kayo

On Friday May 23, 2014 from 9:00am the Saint Lucia Trade Export Promotion Agency (TEPA) will host a Music Symposium at the Bay Gardens Inn, Rodney Bay.

The initiative is a collaborative effort by the TEPA and Filbert “Kayo” Salton, a Saint Lucian-born rapper residing in Halifax, Canada. Through this collaboration, TEPA hopes to provide meaningful contribution towards the growth and development of Saint Lucia Creative Industries particularly, as it pertains to creating, promoting and marketing music for international markets.

The Music Symposium will present local artists the opportunity to dialogue with industry experts and educate participants to better understand the industry and by extension, Canada and North America.
