A new call center on the island opened by the Saint Lucia Tourist Board allows prospective visitors in North America to access Saint Lucia information toll-free with specialists based on the Eastern Caribbean island nation.
Six professionally trained Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) manning the lines offer assistance to potential visitors and travel agents seeking real time information about the popular destination.
Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Senator Allen Chastanet, who led efforts to open the centre, commended the Tourist Board for making this important decision to boost tourism arrivals and revenue.
“The new center supports our hard-working sales team in the marketplace by providing them with crucial administrative assistance which increases our sales productivity and customer service efforts,” stated Minister Chastanet.
Minister Chastanet pointed to the added value provided by the CSRs sharing Saint Lucia counsel through the destination’s Live Web Chat service being offered on the consumer-friendly website
The Call Center operates out of the well-established US-headquartered Ark TeleServices Ltd. located in the Bisee Industrial Estate on the island.
