NGP dismisses Babonneau candidate

The National Green Party (NGP) regrets to announce that our candidate for the Babonneau constituency, Mr. Devan Arthur, will no longer be representing the Party in the upcoming July 26th 2021 General Election. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Arthur for his time by representing us on the media and for the amount of ground work already done by him in his constituency.

Unfortunately, certain unforeseen issues arose which caused the Party to rethink its strategy concerning the selection of Mr. Arthur for that seat. Apart from incoming reports relative to his character, his failure to appear at our Candidate Launch this past Sunday July 11th 2021 was another crucial factor leading to his dismissal.

The Executive members of the NGP wish Mr. Arthur success in all his future endeavours. We apologise to the constituents of Babonneau and the voting populace in general for this untimely decision.
