NIC begins making payments under Economic Relief Program; over 18,000 applications received

NOTICE FROM THE NATIONAL INSURANCE CORPORATION:

The National Insurance Corporation (NIC) has begun remitting payments under the Economic Relief Programme (ERP). The ERP was designed to help NIC contributors navigate the economic hardship brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic.

So far, the NIC has received over 18,000 applications under the ERP. The NIC is working hard to process all claims and make payments to the qualifying applicants by May 25th, 2020. Claimants will be notified, via email, of the status of their claim.
