New NIC Toastmasters Club president Kit-Juelle Frank-Amoroso

Kit-Juelle Frank-Amoroso was installed as the new president of the NIC Toastmasters Club No. 8750 on Wednesday, June 29 at the NIC Conference Center.  Her tenure effectively started yesterday July 1 and she will serve until June 30, 2012, which is the Toastmasters’ calendar year.

In her speech during the ceremony, Frank-Amoroso told of her entry into NIC Toastmasters four years ago and its enlightening experience.  Said Frank-Amoroso: “Being part of Toastmasters is such a wonderful experience as it allows each of us as members to grow and develop as public speakers and leaders both in and outside our regular Toastmasters meetings.”

The new president has high expectations for the organization because of the foundation led by previous executives.  She anticipates an exciting year ahead.
Justine Charles serves as the immediate past president and was praised for her outstanding work during her term. There was resounding applause as she took to the lectern to present the closing remarks for the ceremony.  She wished her successor all the best in their endeavours and promised to support the club in as many ways possible but not before providing invaluable advice to the new executive—”meet each challenge head on.”
