The history of public education in St Lucia has and remains divisive since it’s inception and the Catholic Church is at the Helm of this. King teck back no chat research your history; my preference is talking to the Elders they provide fascinating and detailed insight based on their own personal experiences.

Yeah man this is really sad. Way to go for Jamaica i guess. I don’t know if the government of Saint Lucia ever listens to the people. Or if the people of Saint Lucia are knowledgeable enough to protest against unbeneficial reform acts or policies. This USE thing puts a real strain on teachers mostly. Just ask around. Some say it just calls for differentiated teaching… but it demands way more than that. It demands Special Educators which is a resource Saint Lucia lacks. This whole thing is just lack the Common Core program which America was and still is seeking to establish surreptitiously. This whole change in the education system, results in the dumbing down of our students making them…

Rubbish, that just goes to show the type of vision and thinking those clowns in authority have. Not one of those fools can see the need to invest in technical schools. when all they care about is just sending kids who can hardly write their names to secondary school, this is frustrating the teachers, their classmates and of course the students themselves. For it takes no genius to realize that some students just can’t handle the academics and may be better off learning a trade which may be beneficial to them later as opposed to shoving academics down their chocking throat. I’ve always had to wonder about those so call brains running the country, they can’t see past their nose.

Eh eh !! What a preckay. In Jamaica the Ministry of Education have converted all Secondary Schools to Technical High Schools so that students can have a better chance to strive for higher education and in the process doing away with the Colonial Backward Noose called Common Entrance. It seems in Saint Lucia they are determined to roll back the clock and create a greater divide of the have and have not. (Choops) AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. To the average St Lucian they will not see the “trickery” behind this move. “Elite” Secondary High School. Hello ! “Elite” in front of the word “Secondary” Dam donkey brains hee haww hee haw hee haw
