On and off duty police officers asked to be on stand by

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Commissioner of Police Mr. Severin Monchery would like to appeal to all Police Officers both on duty and on leave (vacation, lieu, off etc) to be on standby based on the decision by officials to place the island under tropical storm watch.

Tropical Storm Kirk has redeveloped and is more organized according to officials at the Saint Lucia Meteorological Office.

Heads of Stations and departments are advised to make the necessary preparations and liaise with their local Disaster personnel.

Continue to listen to the various radio and television stations for updates.
