Once-Weekly Waste Collection Service Remains In Effect

The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority (SLSWMA) wishes to inform the public that the once-weekly residential waste collection service, as well as the discontinuation of bulky waste collection service, remains in effect. Individuals wishing to dispose of solid waste items themselves are asked to access the Deglos Sanitary Landfill or Vieux Fort Waste Management Facility between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays. Both facilities will remain closed on Sundays.

The waste collection schedule can be viewed on the Authority’s website at www.sluswma.org/?p=1942. The Authority will continue to inform the public of any changes to the collection and disposal
services.
