Today Thursday 16th September, members of the Upper House of Parliament met to debate amendments to the Drug Prevention & Misuse, and Consumer Protection Acts. These amendments will see the decriminalization of the possession of 30 grams or less of cannabis. The proposed amendments, however, says an opposition senator, do not address cultivation, importation, and use in public. All of which are still prohibited.
