Orbtronics is hosting a Digital Literacy Program in Micoud

The Digital Literacy Program is a 4-day in-person educational training workshop, developed and implemented by Orbtronics Ltd, through partnership with our sponsors – The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and Republic Bank’s Power to Make a Difference program.

The aim of this program is to improve the digital literacy of the Saint Lucian public who may have been traditionally underserved regarding their exposure to digital technologies. The program impacts participants by developing their technological skills through a guided learning approach. This is to be achieved by ensuring participants gain the fundamental skills required for basic digital interactions such as social media marketing, developing presentations, website design, using information management systems, graphic design and utilizing ecommerce tools. Digital tools are selectively chosen for their usability and financial accessibility so that participants can continue to leverage these tools after the program for self- paced learning.
