Orbtronics Ltd, a technology company based in Saint Lucia, is excited to announce the return of their Digital Literacy Programs. The Digital Literacy Program, now in its third year, is a 4-part workshop aimed at improving the digital literacy of Saint Lucians by developing their
technological skills.
Developed and implemented in partnership with the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, this year’s program promises to be engaging and informative with topics such as Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Work, Cybersecurity, Data Driven Decision Making, Graphic Design, and more.
The program is designed to provide participants with introductory level fundamental skills in each content area, as well as valuable real-world experience as members of a functional project team. Additionally, participants will be introduced to resources they can use to expand their skill sets beyond the program.
The first leg of the 2023 Digital Literacy Program will be hosted at the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School every Saturday from April 22nd to May 13th, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The program is free, and the target age for participants is 16 to 35.
