OUTRAGEOUS Sexy in Black Does It Again!

Ultimate Rejects are slated to perform at this year’s Sexy in Black event.

[dropcap]C[/dropcap]arnival Friday in Saint Lucia has never been the same, not since the introduction of Outrageous Sexy in Black by The Wave 94.5 several years ago. The station, known for doing things somewhat differently, sweeter and with much flair, over the years has helped to kick off the final carnival weekend with an explosive and epic event. And this year is expected to be no different.

Outrageous Sexy in Black, is the “must do” event for carnival. The experience itself is as much about the music that drives carnival, as it is about the fashion and, of course, the drinks and gourmet experience. Not to mention the ambience which is expected to be amplified with a new venue, the Pigeon Island National Park.

So yes, Outrageous Sexy in Black will come to life on Friday July 14, 2017 and will feature some of the biggest names in Soca from Saint Lucia and the region. The 2017 international Soca Monarch out of Trinidad and Tobago, Voice, will be taking to the stage with his two huge hits “Far From Finished” and “Winner”, among others. Also on the SIB stage next Friday are Ultimate Rejects with their 2017 Road March and monster hit “Full Extreme” so you know they will be jamming still. Nailah Blackman will be bringing her workout energy to the stage as well as Sekon Sta with “Kings and Queens” and, of course, “The Best”. Just in case you missed him at a previous SIB, Olantunji, the man with the moves, the voice and the hits is back again this year. With a powerful repertoire that includes “Wining Good”, “Ola”, and “Oy Yay”, expect to be thrilled yet again.

From Saint Lucia, King Arthur will be doing it “Over and Over”. Young DP will be bringing the ‘queen of the carnival’. Mysterio is coming to ‘celebrate’ and Subance will lead the charge for the Dennery Segment with “Bad in Bum Bum”.
