Just when you thought it could not get any bigger and better it just did! Already boasting three mega soca bands and their frontline artistes, Outrageous Sexy in Black has gone one up, way up. Arthur and Evalucian Band will now join Kes the Band, TJ and the TJ project and Farmer Nappy and The Red Boyz for the Fantastic Friday Carnival Experience. Arthur who is the reigning Groovy King will set the pace ahead of defending his title the following day. With hits like ‘Numb’ and ‘I am Lucian/West Indian’ under his belt, Arthur and Evalucian will spice things up even more with the likes of TK Da Boss (the one jook man) and Sir Lancealot as part of their set.
Outrageous Sexy in Black will also feature Saint Lucia’s Soca King Ricky T, the recent Piton Beer endorsee Sedale as well as TC Brown from the Wave 94.5 organisers of the event.
According to the organisers this is more than a fete, it’s an experience which unfolds the minute you walk into the transformed venue of Gaiety on Rodney Bay. VIP patrons will have the added bonus of goodie bags while Piton Beer, one of the sponsors, will offer carnival specials.
It’s all going down carnival Friday July 15 from 10 p.m. with gates opening at 9 p.m.
Fantastic DJs pumping sweet soca between sets include the Wave’s Selecta Twis as well as Patrick the Hype Man and regional beat maestro DJ Scratchmaster.
A limited number of VIP tickets is now available exclusively at The Wave. Regular tickets can be purchased at all Cell Outlets, Verdict clothing store and Steve’s Barber Shop.
Sponsors include main sponsor Digicel as well as Peter and Company distribution with an amazing array of brands including Dewars, Ciroc, Moet, DeKuyper, Johnny Walker Black.
