Pain En Panyen’w!
No one will deny that times are hard and most of us can barely make ends meet these days. The “better days” promised by politician and priest seem but an illusion, as some of us do the best we can to keep our heads above the water. Meanwhile, the bread basket is growing empty with no savior to miraculously multiply the crumbs or even provide more “bread” in our “panyen.” This obviously talented lady however is still holding on to a dream that she can survive on her straw baskets, weaving as the days go by at the Castries market.
