The months of January through March have proven to be an exciting time for student-athletes who powered their way through the 2024 annual school sports season. As playing fields and sporting grounds transformed across the island for fiercely competitive school, and district competitions, the Piton Malta & Crystal Clear brands have equally been supporting institutions island wide. As part of their continued commitment to youth development through sports and education, to date, the brands have donated over $12,000 worth of product to over 20 schools and district education offices for the sporting season.
The annual Inter-house school and Inter-district Sports Meets consists of student-athletes in different age groups competing in a series of track & field events and marathons across the island.
Mrs. Fern Wilson-Jean, Category Manager Malt & Water Portfolio at Heineken Saint Lucia Ltd, stated “Sports has been a core pillar for alignment of the brands Piton Malta & Crystal Clear Water. Over the years the brands have both been at the heart youth sports culture. We generously provide the beverages to help offset event costs for our schools and help enrich and hydrate our student athletes. The brands were once again happy to support in our institutions, recognizing the importance of sports in the development of our youth and also in creating positive experiences for students.”
