Police need help in identifying a victim of a suspected drowning

Elderly man found floating on the waters at Vigie

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a victim of a suspected drowning. About 5:10 pm, on Saturday, July 26, 2014, the body of a male was observed floating on the waters at Ganters Bay, Vigie. The body was retrieved and transported to Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

This individual has yet to be identified. The RSLPF is appealing to anyone who can assist in the identification of this individual to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at telephone number 456 3770 or 456 3754.
