Miguel Garrett was arrested on Friday 1 February 2013, along with Teddy Walcott of Grass Street, Castries for the Attempted Murder of Adisania Ojo, a Canadian National.
The said incident occurred at Mon Repos about 12:10 pm. Adaisania Ojo had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to St Jude’s Hospital. He was treated and admitted in a critical condition.
During the course of investigations, one police officer was arrested under suspicion of Aiding and Abetting the Escape of a Prisoner. He is currently in police custody.
A Warrant of Arrest in the First Instance has been issued for Deno B’Journ Thomas. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is seeking the assistance of the public in recapturing this criminal. If anyone has information pertaining to the whereabouts of the said individual, they can call 999 or the nearest police station.
Deno B’Journ Thomas is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 191 lbs. He is fairskin in complexion and has brown eyes, black hair, a moustache and a beard. He is muscular in built and carries a cross tattoo with wings on his right shoulder and an angel playing a harp on the left shoulder. The word “Leonter” is written above the tattoo on the left shoulder and below it has the letters “NHT”.
