Police say Marigot youth shot during operation

Police are reporting that on Tuesday 12th April 2011, they conducted an operation at Marigot where they went in pursuit of 22-year-old Dwight Henry alias “A.K.” of China Town, Marigot, who was shot in the process. He was later pronounced dead at Victoria Hospital.
According to police: “Henry was the prime suspect in the shooting of 26-year-old Francis St Luce aka “Dunga” of Morne Ciseaux, Jackmel, quarter of Anse-La-Raye, who was shot about 9:30pm on Friday 8th April in the vicinity of JJ’s Paradise at Marigot. A post mortem which was performed on the body of Francis St Luce, revealed death by spinal cord injury, secondary to close range gunshot wound to the back of the neck. During the operation by police at Marigot where Henry was shot, a firearm was recovered from his premises.”
A post mortem has been scheduled on the body of Dwight Henry.
