Personnel at the St. Lucia Fire Service Headquarters received a call at 1:46 p.m. on Wednesday 13 October informing of a possible electrocution at La Clery, Castries.
The responding officers found one male individual lying on his back in the presence of medical personnel from the La Clery Health Center. It was reported that he had been electrocuted and fell from a height. The patient was conscious and alert and complained of pain to his body. He sustained several burns about his body. The patient was immediately transferred to the ambulance and provided rapid emergency transportation to the OKEU Hospital.
