Anytime construction and Governments of any country are involved, corruption in the guise of cost over runs are a by-product. St. Lucia is enslaved to an economic model which is killing business growth. You can’t keep borrowing and just think taxation will take care of your debt, the very tax brings despair and hopelessness. It’s just basic infrastructure that most countries would just complete as a matter of course. With so many issues to deal with and so many people suffering it really does look a class apart.
