[dropcap]P[/dropcap]rime Minister Allen M. Chastanet will deliver an Address to the Nation this evening at 8 p.m. The Prime Minister will address the Government’s achievements as it relates to “Five to Stay Alive” and the progress on the final component which is the reduction of Value Added Tax.
The Prime Minister will also speak about the Government’s proposed four- year strategic development plan for Saint Lucia. The address will be carried on the National Television Network as well as local TV stations and will also be available on the Office of the Prime Minister’s facebook page: facebook.com/opmsaintlucia.

Run and teck IMF to fill your empty promises !! A least Kenny had read the teachings of Manley in regards to tecking monies from The Loan Sharks and the devastating repercussions it has on developing Caribbean Nations. If he had to teck St Jude's Monies instead of putting his teeth out for the Loan Sharks so be it. If he had to raise the Vat and don't kiss the Loan Sharks Ass at end of the day so St Lucia will be for St Lucians then so be it. He hear say they over Trinidad he run over deh behind dem. Look around you ?? Look at countries like Jamaica ,Grenada, that teck monies from the Loan Sharks, massive public sector worker layoffs and wage freezes, some as long as five years. Underfund educational and health services, funds cut for policing the list goes on and on because the Loan Sharks want the maximum returns on every dollar that was loaned. If you cut the vat where the hell are you going to get back that money from when there is hardly any funds to begin with ???
