With the announced reopening of Saint Lucia’s society in phases, Prime Minister Honourable Allen Chastanet will provide a further update on Saturday May 16th 2020 on the National Television Network (NTN at 9:00 AM. The Prime Minister will be joined by Minister for Tourism, Information and Broadcasting, Culture and Creative Industries Honourable Dominic Fedee, Chief Medical Officer Dr Sharon Belmar-George and Chief Environmental Health Officer Parker Ragnanan.
On Friday May 15th the Government of Saint Lucia revealed the framework for reopening which outlined specifically the types of business that may operate, and level of activity permitted at each phase. The session also provided the requirements for businesses and organisations across each sector to operate based on national COVID-19 protocols.
