Probaclac Vaginal Probiotic Launched

DUNAMIS ENTERPRISE INC was launched recently at the Sandals Halcyon Beach St Lucia. The company’s mission statement is to improve the lives of people in the Caribbean and internationally by providing access to affordable healthcare products and services.

The company launched its Probaclac Probiotic Product Line at the Sandals Halcyon Beach St Lucia on Friday 23rd August 2013.  Mr Jean-Yves Dionne, qualified pharmacist, author, scientific advisor,
natural health products consultant, and a regular lecturer at Université Laval and Université de Montréal in Canada, did a lecture presentation with doctors and pharmacists on the island.

These Natural Product Number (NPN) certified products are manufactured in Canada by a company with more than a decade of experience and research into probiotics.

Our primary focus is the management of Bacterial Vaginosis in women caused by altered or abnormal
vaginal micro flora. Current statistics reveal that more than 50% of all women have an episode of Bacterial
Vaginosis, with a cure rate (at 1 year) of only 30% despite the best available treatment (Sporasec, Flagyl, Diflucan etc.).

Our product, Probaclac Vaginal Probiotic directly re-populates the genital tract with normal flora using active cultures in an easy to use pessary. Initial studies show a cure rate of more than 80% at 1 year after a single course.

Additional oral probiotic preparations from Probaclac are available to maintain appropriate gut flora, to treat antibiotic associated diarrhoea (with preparations available for both children and
adults), manage travellers’ diarrhoea and to improve Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms among other indications.
