Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 94th birthday today, April 21. In a statement, The Royal Family said: “Head of the Commonwealth, Head of the Armed Forces, Head of State in 16 countries and the longest reigning Monarch in British History. Wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Happy birthday, Your Majesty!”
Per The Royal Family website, as Queen of Saint Lucia, “Her Majesty maintains a unique relationship with this beautiful Eastern Caribbean island, keeping informed of day-to-day government matters via her representative in the country, the Governor-General.”
She is represented in Saint Lucia by Governor General Sir Neville Cenac.
