Relay gold for Beaubrun

Day one of the 2011 Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Championship at the Gabrielson Natatorium on the campus of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, saw the Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) Swim Team establish their dominance by amassing 236.5 points ahead of second place Davidson College with 156 points and third place going to Gardner Webb with 142.5 points.
In the 400 Medley, the FGCU team of Vicky Cadge, Danielle Beaubrun, Danielle Butler and Leah Daniel, out stroked the Davidson College to capture Gold with a time of 3:45.07.
FGCU also went on to medal in the 200 Free Relay (Silver medal); 500 Free (Gold and Silver with Leah Daniel and Jessie Porter respectively); and 200 IM (Gold and Silver with Vicky Cadge and Myriam Plante).
Beaubrun also swam the 50 Free doing a personal best of 24.13 to place 11th overall of the 67 swimmers.
Day two of the Championships (Friday) will see Beaubrun swim her favored 100 Breast and 200 medley relay.
