Notice by the Water and Sewerage Company Inc:
The Water and Sewerage Company Inc (WASCO) regrets to inform customers that we are currently experiencing low flows at the Theobalds Treatment Plant which supplies water to consumers in the north of the island. As a result, customers at higher elevations and those at the further end of the system will experience delays in receiving the water supply.
Additionally, due to clogging and high turbidity caused by heavy rains over the weekend, our systems supplying the south of the island have been affected. As a result customers will experience an interruption in the water supply. Technicians are currently working on addressing the clogging at the intakes and the water supply will be restored to customers, once the water quality improves.
WASCO deeply regrets the inconvenience that the water supply interruption may cause to you our valued customers and we thank you for your patience.
