The Millennium Heights Medical Complex (MHMC), this morning, by way of a press release confirmed that the National Mental Wellness Centre was the island’s latest victim to robbery.
The incident is purported to have occured at around 1:00am on December 15, 2021. The release went on to say that “three staff members were impacted by the incident” but did not give details as to their condition, physical or otherwise.
MHMC confirms that the incident is being probed by the Police and that investigations continue. “MHMC, and the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs noted their concern about the well-being of the staff and will provide the necessary support required at this time” is how the release ended.
