(Parliament of Saint Lucia)- A Sitting of the House of Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 with Papers to be laid by the Honourable Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Economic Growth, Job Creation, External Affairs and the Public Service and the Honourable Minister for Commerce, Industry, Enterprise Development and Consumer Affairs.
The Motion for consideration is as follows:
BE IT RESOLVED that Parliament further extends for an additional period of five months, commencing from the 17th day of May, 2021 and ending on the 16th day of October, 2021, in accordance with section 17(6) of the Constitution of Saint Lucia, Cap. 1.01, the Constitution of Saint Lucia – Resolution of Parliament Approving Declaration of State of Emergency passed as Statutory Instrument, No. 38 of 2021 that extended the state of emergency for an additional period of ninety days, commencing from the 11th day of February, 2021 and ending on the 16th day of May, 2021

Tuesday’s Sitting is scheduled to commence at 10:00a.m.
The Sitting of the Senate is scheduled for Thursday, May 6th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
